POSITION： Engineering ManagerCOMPANY INFO. US-based medical device company in SIPLOCATION： SuzhouREPORT TO： Plant ManagerGENERAL FUNCTIONThe incumbent will manage engineering related activities and programs for the Plant including engineering,injection molding.facilities/security,cost reduction programs, project management,spare parts,preventive maintence and process improvement.RESPONSIBILITIES1.Identify and justify projects to improve safety,quality,cost and productivity.2.Support new equipment/process introduction into the Plant.3.Ensure all chartered projects are completed successfully on time,on budget and that committed benefits are realized.4.Build and develop engineering capabilities(i.e. process improvement,injection molding,design,project management,materials,etc)within the Plant.5.Provide technical leadership over Engineers and Technicians,indirect supervision to all technical resources in the Plant and technical support to Value Streams.6.Ensure cost reduction goals are met each year.7.Overall responsibility to ensure that the optimum level and mix of spare parts is maintained to ensure zero disruption to production while achieving high inventory turns.8.Overall responsibility for preventive maintenance programs in the Plant.9.Ensure the facility is well maintained and responsible for overall safety and security of associates and visitors.10.Ensure plant layout,parts and machine drawings are kept up to date.11.Develop and track capital in the Plant to ensure it is spent as committed.12.Support LDMS efforts of the Plant.13.Serve as a member of the Plant Steering Team which is charged with ensuring overall performance of the Plant.14.Overall responsibility for plant wide project management.15.Responsible
